Dear Brightway Management:

I have Power of Attorney for [Brightway Passenger], a resident of [Skilled Nursing Home in St. Charles, MO]. I am writing to make you aware of a wonderful experience [Brightway Passenger] and I had with the transportation provided by your driver, Dennis, on March 17, 2026.

[Brightway Passenger], who suffers from dementia, was scheduled for a CT scan at SSM Health located at 711 Veterans Memorial Parkway. The plan was for a Brightway driver to pick [Brightway Passenger] up in their wheelchair and take them to the appointment where I was to meet them in the lobby. When I arrived, I was told that their CT scanner was broken and patients were being routed to St. Joseph’s Hospital in St. Charles. [Brightway Passenger] and Dennis had already been there and left for the hospital. Dennis had taken it upon himself to drive [Brightway Passenger] to St. Joseph’s.

When I arrived at the hospital, I was very relieved to find Dennis in the CT scan waiting room talking with [Brightway Passenger]. He was aware that I would be meeting [Brightway Passenger] and he did not want to leave [Brightway Passenger] alone.

In my experiences with other transportation companies and their drivers, the patient is taken into the building lobby and left to wait alone for someone to take them to where they are going to be seen. The drivers do not wait with the patient. After the appointment someone must call for a return trip home.

Our experience with Dennis was the absolute antithesis of those past experiences. As a result, I intend to request that Dennis be [Brightway Passenger] driver for any future appointments, if at all possible. Someone in your company made a very good decision by hiring Dennis and I congratulate you.
